t fournetOne of the initiatives in the past couple of years has been to improve  access for our patients. To do that, we have focused on the dvelopmet of new outreach clinics so that we can see our patients where they live rather than them having to drive all the way to Cookeville to see us for an office visit. It's just more conventient for the patient. We're proud to say that we have seven outreach clinics across the Upper Cumberland and southern Kentucky.  ~ Dr. Timothy Fournet M.D., F.A.C.C.
s brewingtonAt Cookeville Regional, I think every patient is someone special. That may sound a bit cliche, but it's unusual for patients who come in to the hospital not to have some personal connection with one of the doctors, the nurses or someone who works at the hospital/ The doctors are integrated not only in the medical system, but in the local community and society, as well. Some of our physicians are community leaders, and we are taking care of former school teachers or friends and classmates, and it seems that that holds us to a higher standard. ~ Dr. Stacy Brewington M.D., F.A.C.C.

Walk with DocStarting Saturday April 1, we will start a new chapter of Walk With A Doc!

Tennessee Heart, Cookeville Regional Medical Center and the Putnam County Health Department are teaming up to get the community moving every Saturday morning at 9:00! We will be meeting at the main entrance of the hospital.  We will be encouraging  a one mile walk or more on the Wellness Path around the hospital.  A different  doctor will lead each week. Talk it up with your family and friends! Bring your kids…bring your pets…everyone is welcome!

The first ten people to sign-in each week will get a free t-shirt (limit one per person).
