Dr. Danchenko moved to Tennessee after 15 years of private practice as an invasive cardiologist in Florida, and another 5 years in Tennessee.  Prior to that, he spent 13 years of service in the Navy in multiple operational roles including Flight Surgeon.  He also provided primary and specialty care for active duty military and families, retirees, and members of the US Congress.

He is married and has four children, all of whom are recent university graduates.  He likes hiking the local state parks, and is an avid hockey fan, attending many games at the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville.
