Education & Training

Born in Mexico, Dr. Torres attended 7 years of medical school & training before relocating to the United States.  He is married and has two young sons. Tennessee was a destination for them, as they have family in Chattanooga.  Outside of work, they enjoy the outdoors and walking trails.

MD, University of Montemorelos School of Medicine in Nuevo Leon, Mexico; residency at the University of Missouri Kansas City School of Medicine in Kansas City, MO; fellowship in Preventive Cardiology at the University of Missouri Kansas City School of Medicine; Cardiovascular Diseases fellowship at the University of Kansas Health System.

Fluent in both English and Spanish.
